Times City is a sprawling 200,000m² community in the heart of Hanoi including eleven residential towers, a hospital, a college, a primary school, an aquarium, a cinema complex, over 200 retail tenants, and two levels of parking. A multifaceted urban experience, but one with real navigational friction: podium-level congestion, unclear access points, and poorly defined routes.

Our task was to enhance accessibility and streamline wayfinding for residents and visitors alike. Through extensive on-site analysis and user mapping, we identified key circulation patterns and desired pathways, then built a strategy around them — leveraging major tenants to redirect vehicular traffic, optimising car park circulation, and clearly delineating residential and retail access.

To unify the experience, we developed a bespoke bilingual signage system, weaving in a pattern language inspired by the Vincom logo mark.
