Star Mountain Plaza is Papua New Guinea's first integrated, mixed-use development — a USD 500 million landmark for Port Moresby that initially served as the venue for APEC 2018. Stage one brings together a Hilton Hotel, Kutubu, a four-level 5,500m² convention centre, and premium hospitality in Summit, Halo, Feast and Copper.

Building on the wayfinding concept by Unsworth Shepard, we tied these spaces together into a single, compelling experience for visitors and staff alike. We developed and documented the system for implementation — including detailed specifications, graphic conventions, materials, signage planning and scheduling — giving the project a clear, consistent language to navigate by.

The result connects a complex mix of hotel, convention and hospitality destinations under one coherent system, ready to guide guests through a venue built to host the world.
