Rainbow Springs Interpretive
The park's existing information was dry, dated and overly wordy. Factual, yes, but it failed to captivate the diverse array of Rainbow Springs visitors.
Our approach was to inject an element of surprise and delight, delivering information in a lively, engaging tone that let visitors tailor the experience to their own preferences. Departing from the dense text notorious to conventional museum and park panels, we opted for a refreshing design: prominent images to aid identification for international visitors, paired with concise, engaging copy brimming with unexpected insights. Purposefully conversational, the content encourages family interaction and exploration.
Over 50 interpretive panels were designed for the park, transforming raw content from park specialists into bite-sized nuggets. Interweaving history, culture, endangerment status and unique features, each snippet is paired with graphic vignettes, creating a visually compelling narrative that complements the hero imagery of every attraction.
